About us:

Hey there Studio 81 is a portable recording studio, with over 30+ years experience, and I try to cater to your environment and your indoor or outdoor element needs. I want you to be comfortable so we can capture your energy from your songs. All our services are designed to help you create a demo at a low budget and get started in the music industry.

Will travel up to 500 miles (Denver, Billings, Rapid City, and other places) from Newcastle, Wyoming, but you will pay gas (my car gets 48 mpg), you will feed me, and let me crash on your couch.

Equiptment:

Solid State Logic SSL 2 MKII USB Audio Interface, MacBook Pro 13”, Logic Pro DAW/Recording Software, Shure Beta 87C Vocal Recording Mic, and we will use the pickup on your acoustic guitar, or you can use my Alverez - Masterworks Dreadnought with LR Baggs Hi-FI System ~ sounds so good with the SSL 2 4K.

Pricing:

$50 per song this includes set up, pushing the record button, as much recording time as it takes, and mixing.

Rules:

  1. Please have your songs completed and practiced up and tight, I mean super tight.

  2. I will not record you in a bar sorry, I am alcohol free, struggled for years.

  3. We can but we don’t have to use a click-track, I find them annoying.

  4. Must change your strings within 3 days of our recording session I recommend D’Addario Nickel Bronze Acoustic Guitar 12 - 53 for best clarity.

There is a 75$ non-refundable booking deposit (Cash App user name is LanceBergstrom41). I am working on getting a scheduling app so you can see my availability but for now just text me. The booking deposit will go towards your final bill.
